Ever had the experience of seeing someone across the proverbial crowded room, making unexpected eye contact, and having the feeling that this is someone you’re destined to meet? But unfortunately, you never make contact with that person again that night, and you’re left wondering if you missed the one chance to meet someone who would have been important to you. Maybe that person was ‘The One’ for you.

That’s what this song’s about. Luckily for me, when I had that experience with Denise, we actually connected. Not many years, we married... and are still together.
